Walking into the LDC Kampala Campus Main Gate, one is greeted by the balancing scales wrapped up in a book at its top left corner. The passage of welcome stands like a tall fortress clothed in purple as a badge of honor for those bold enough to dare to go through it and walk out as future advocates.
The new LDC gate was commissioned by Hon. Lady Justice Irene Mulyagonja on 19th April, 2024. As the purple ribbon fell to the ground, she noted that this ushers a fresh aura for the next thousands of law keepers.
Justice Mulyagonja also commissioned the new Printery House that same day. She was impressed by the Centre’s diligence in putting up quality infrastructure amidst limited funding.
The new Printery building is set to house a number of offices such as Publishers, Marketing, Public Relations, and Bookshop among others.
